International Confederation of Midwives Midwives Tackling the "Big 5" Globally Call for Stewards

 

 

SOMSA members are invited to apply to be stewards at this Congress – a type of ambassador for SOMSA – with a reduction of 40 per cent in the Registration Fee.

 

We need about 100 midwives to help out at ICM Council during the four or five days before Congress begins (14 -18 June 2011) And then during the Congress (19-23 June 2011)

 

In exchange for your assistance we can offer a significantly reduced registration fee. This opportunity is only open to SOMSA members who intend registering as delegates (there is no free entry through this process). Your duties might include officiating at the prestigious ICM Council; room supervision at break-out sessions; helping with preparation and distribution of Congress packs; welcoming delegates at airports. This is an exciting – and once in a lifetime - opportunity to assist at the world’s largest international midwifery event with delegates from over 100 countries. Are you available to assist as an ambassador for your organisation and your country?
